Summary
HDR is seeking an Electrical Distribution Project Manager to join their team in Rocky Hill, CT. The role involves managing overhead and underground distribution line projects, providing technical leadership, and supporting business development.
About the Role
As an Electrical Distribution Project Manager, you will manage distribution projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including scope development, project execution, quality control, and budget management. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, oversee QA/QC processes, and engage in client management and business development activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum of 2 years project management experience
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills
Preferred:
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of distribution design experience
- Minimum 6 years of overall experience including prior project management and staff management experience
- FE, PE license preferred, PMP in lieu of PE
- Experience with electrical and planning analysis software, such as CYMCAP, ETAP or Polywater Pull Planner
