- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Functional working knowledge and experience with electrical systems and their interaction with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Experience with NYC fire alarm systems.
- Excellent writing skills and proficient computer skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.

BR+A was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975 by Gene Bard, Arjun Rao, and Ted Athanas. With just 11 MEP design engineers and a few rooms packed with drafting tables, they built a firm that would become respected for solid engineering and even stronger relationships. And although we’ve traded our drafting tables for BIM, AutoCAD and Revit, we continue to make MEP excellence the core of our practice—while helping our clients explore innovative design solutions.
