Summary
Davies Engineering Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves utilizing MEP experience on a wide range of industrial projects with full lifecycle involvement from concept to installation.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work with lead engineers and design specialists as part of project-specific teams. Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting all aspects of the design process, leveraging technical knowledge of electrical engineering, and collaborating with other trades. You will also support and train entry-level engineers and contribute to high-impact design in essential industries.
About You
Required:
- BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required.
- Licensed PE or Passed FE exam and on track to obtain a PE.
- AutoCAD and Revit experience.
- Experience designing electrical systems associated with industrial motor applications such as pumps, fans, conveyors, etc.
- Experience working with other trades including mechanical, process, architectural, and structural.
Preferred:
- Understanding what it takes to put a design package together.
- Experience with Division 26, 27 & 28 specifications.
- Knowledge of international/federal/state/local codes.
- Food and beverage plant experience.
- Design experience in central plants including chilled water, steam, and compressed air systems.
