Summary
SLB is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves supporting the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager in the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale hyperscale data centers.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the electrical scope throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, construction, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning. You will ensure compliance with industry standards, support manufacturing operations, and assist stakeholders with troubleshooting during site installation and commissioning.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design and/or engineering, with a strong focus on data center infrastructure.
- Proficient in producing technical drawings and sketches to communicate design concepts.
- Hands-on experience with the construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems in data centers or commercial buildings.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineering License.
- Experience working in high-density and hyperscale data center environments.
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including IEC, IBC, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA.
- Experience with CAD and BIM software tools.
