Summary
Figure is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern for Fall 2025 to support the design and testing of critical hardware components in their AI Robotics company based in San Jose, CA.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will design and test PCBAs for the humanoid robot, support the review of design artifacts, and assist in system integration and testing activities. This role requires in-office collaboration five days a week.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate student (Senior) or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 weeks internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred.
- Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs.
- Experience with design automation (EDA) tools, preferably Altium in both schematics and layout.
- Experience with power electronics, digital electronics, and analog electronics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience using LTspice, Python, and Matlab.
- Embedded programming of DSPs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
