Summary
Ultra Maritime is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join their team in Wake Forest, NC. The role involves supporting electrical and electronic hardware development activities across the product lifecycle.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work on real engineering projects alongside experienced engineers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with requirements analysis, design, implementation, and verification tasks, participating in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience with or knowledge of RADAR systems or similar signal processing systems.
- Experience with or knowledge of SONAR systems or similar signal processing systems.
- Familiarity with Linux-based system integration, testing, and execution environments.
