About the Role
About You
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance or electrical contracting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures, safety standards, and industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with power distribution, control wiring, PLC systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Working knowledge of applicable codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA).
- Ability to interpret and analyze electrical schematics, blueprints, and system layouts.
- Skilled in using multimeters, insulation testers, meggers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a plant environment.
- Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Prior experience with SCADA systems and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control loop calibration.
