StrataTech Education Group is seeking an Electrical Instructor for the Weekend Shift to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves leading hands-on training, mentoring students, and supporting classroom safety and curriculum delivery.
About the Role
As an Electrical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching from pre-developed lesson plans, engaging students with different learning styles, tracking attendance and grades, maintaining classroom cleanliness and safety, managing tools and equipment, supporting new instructor onboarding, assisting with curriculum updates and testing, and providing short-term tutoring and mentoring.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED (18 SCH of post-higher education for Jacksonville only).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the last 10 years of field taught.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in shop or lab environments.
