Olsson is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer for their Data Center Facilities Engineering Design team in the Jonesboro-Paragould Area. The role involves supporting the design development of instrumentation and control systems associated with electrical distribution systems.
About the Role
As an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in system modernization and maintenance. Your responsibilities will include creating plans, schematics, and one-lines, leading instrumentation and controls projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of instrumentation systems through technical studies and data analysis.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
7+ years’ experience in instrumentation and control systems within the industrial electrical and/or hyperscale data center sector.
Expertise in the design, application, and implementation of distribution and generation instrumentation and control systems for building level infrastructures.
Thorough understanding of industry standards governing the selection, testing, and performance of instrumentation sensors and control schemes.
Experience working with DCS, SIS, and PLCs, and developing, reading, and understanding P&IDs and control schematics.
Preferred:
License Professional Engineer (P.E.)
