Summary
Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Assembler to join their team in Mocksville, NC. The role involves performing complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly for rotary air compressor systems and custom industrial control panels.
About the Role
As an Electrical-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling rotary screw compressor packages, installing and aligning components, routing and securing lines, performing torque controlled fastening, interpreting assembly drawings, and conducting various tests to ensure build accuracy and functionality. You will work in a fast-paced environment adhering to manufacturing, quality, and EHS standards.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience in industrial equipment assembly, preferably compressors, HVAC, pumps, or electromechanical systems.
Preferred:
- Technical or trade school certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Electrical Technology.
- 2+ years’ experience in compressor, pump, blower, or industrial equipment assembly.
