About the Role
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will collaborate with electrical design engineers to create test systems that ensure the reliability of Amca's products. Your responsibilities will include developing rapid solutions for test equipment, designing test beds, integrating with environmental test equipment, executing qualification tests, and building acceptance test solutions for production.
About You
Required:
- Experience with electrical design and applying first-principles thinking.
- Proficient in a standard software language (Python, C#, C++, Java, etc.).
- Experience in electrical schematic layout, component selection, and simulation.
- Comfortable with hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Demonstrated ability to use engineering first principles to challenge and simplify requirements.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD, or other qualification and certification frameworks.
- Exceptionally curious and fast learner; able to contribute across diverse part categories and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on and practical—comfortable building, testing, and troubleshooting in real-world environments.
- Independent and creative; thrives with ownership and minimal oversight.
