About the Role
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for global ownership of high-speed testing, including bit error rate tests, optical tests, and jitter characterization. You will collaborate with development engineering, factories, and customers to deploy and control cable assembly high-speed testing. Your tasks will include planning and executing engineering verification tests, developing next-generation testing solutions, and providing mentorship to test technicians. You will also support customer reporting requirements and work closely with internal teams to ensure design for test and manufacturing.
About You
Required:
- Engineering degree required; BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 3 years of experience working in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g. RF / Antenna test).
- Experience with various high-speed testing equipment (e.g. TDR, VNA/ENA).
- Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.
Preferred:
- In-depth understanding of signal integrity.
- Experience working closely with product design and process development teams.
- Working knowledge of various test software platforms.
