About the Role
About You
- BS in Engineering (systems, optics, electrical, physics) with 3+ years experience in electro optic system design.
- Strong understanding of IR Materials, IR system architecture, IR sensors, spectrometers, optics, mechanics, and lab test/measure practices.
- Ability to lead a diverse team of technical experts and establish goals in support of project deliverables.
- Ability to understand and negotiate technical electro-optical specifications with customers.
- Experience in developing project technical risk registers and plans to mitigate risks.
- Ability to generate Development Engineering roadmaps for future EOIR products and materials.
- Strong understanding of financial budgets and GAANT charts.
- Ability to construct and maintain a financial budget for technical resources.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to interface with customers and travel to their facilities.
- Competence with project management tools in engineering (MS/Project), Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good communicator with experience briefing executive level business and engineering management.
- Report writing with good organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain a DOD clearance if required.
