About the Role
As an Electro-Optical Technician II, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the design, development, characterization, and fielding of diagnostic systems for high-stakes weapons physics experiments. Your responsibilities will include operating diagnostic equipment, assisting in data acquisition, and collaborating with engineers and scientists in a dynamic field environment.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree in a field related to the position or High School diploma plus 2 years of progressive related experience.
- Experience with electrical components, circuitry, and basic electronic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work underground and adapt to diverse field environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Experience using standard office software products.
