About the Role
As an Electronic Image Technician, you will conduct training on PACS software, check PACS monitors for study flow, retrieve patient folders, access reports via RIS and PACS, communicate reports to physicians, package images for distribution, assist radiologists, troubleshoot exam problems, provide reception coverage, support Voxar 3D application, run cancer conferences, and assist in building radiology information systems.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Two years healthcare/radiology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- Prior PACS or RIS experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
