About the Role
As an Electronic Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing machinery, including electrical controls, servo motors, and Programmable Logic Controllers. You will work closely with the operations group to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and will communicate completed tasks to team leaders. The position requires a willingness to travel for training and further education.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 5 years’ experience working on CNC equipment
- At least 2 years performing calibrations and working with test equipment and low voltage controls
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Hurco CNC mills, DMG CNC mills, GF EDM sinkers, and Methods Feeler CNC milling machines
- Successfully completed formal training in basic electrical theory
- Knowledge of 110 through 480-volt systems, and lower DC control voltage
- Knowledge of electrical theory, electrical code and trade practices
- Ability to troubleshoot start circuits and advanced controls
- Experience with basic instrument testing and advanced troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Knowledge of AC and DC drives and controls
- Experience with CNC Machining Centers and Fanuc Controls
- Ability to wire integrated systems from advanced wiring schematics
- Knowledge of relay logic
- Ability to safely work on any equipment in the plant
