About the Role
As an Electronic Security Designer, you will produce coordinated Revit models and drawing sets for electronic security systems, IT/Telecom layouts, and AV systems. Your responsibilities include creating device layouts, managing BIM workflows, collaborating with engineers and architects, and contributing to continuous improvement in modeling practices. You will also assist with visualization tasks and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance your technical understanding of security systems.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting/Design, Engineering Technology, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Autodesk Revit for building systems modeling and drawing production.
- Familiarity with construction documents and drawing conventions.
- Strong graphic and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Architecture background.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam; exposure to Navisworks, Dynamo, and ACC/BIM 360.
- Interest in light scripting/automation (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper).
- Passion for modeling and visualization with attention to detail.
