Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking an Electronic Security Subject Matter Expert to join their team in San Diego, California. The role involves providing key support for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of State (DoS) Electronic Security Systems.
About the Role
As an Electronic Security Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning Electronic Security Systems according to DoD and DoS guidelines. Your tasks will include reviewing RFP/PWS documentation, developing ESS documentation, interpreting customer requirements, and serving as a SME on security engineering needs. You will also perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of security systems, as well as train technicians and end users.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Technical training in an Electronic Security Systems Engineering Field.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Communications, Cryptographic, and related C4ISR.
- 3 years of experience as a technician with installation or maintenance of electronics/electrical systems.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science.
- Manufacturer’s certification or technical training (Lenel, Milestone, Security+, CISSP).
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and practices such as grounding and electrical safety.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other Computer Aided Design applications.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Network Systems and Topology.
