Summary
PRACTICE is seeking an Elementary Academic Support tutor to join their mission-driven team in Queens, NY. The role involves providing one-on-one and small group tutoring for students in Grades 3–5 in Math and ELA.
About the Role
As an Education Champion, you will support urban students by delivering personalized learning strategies in core subjects. You will work collaboratively with teachers and school leaders, participate in monthly training, and have a flexible schedule of 10-35 hours per week.
About You
Required:
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
- Passion for supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
Preferred:
- Experience in tutoring or teaching.
- Strong collaborative skills to work alongside teachers and fellow tutors.
