- IL PEL with LBS1 Certification or PEL General Education Teacher Certification with willingness to obtain LBS1.
- Ability to teach a self-contained classroom within all basic instructional areas.
- Experience working with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comprehensive training and experience in curriculum area.
- Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving.
