Summary

About the Role
As an Elementary Special Education Teacher, you will modify and teach an inclusive curriculum, collaborate with families and Special Education teams to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and create a safe environment for students. You will manage a caseload of IEPs, analyze student work samples, and provide differentiated instruction. Additionally, you will build positive relationships with students and families, engage in professional development, and participate in school-wide meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities (1-2 years experience preferred).
- Academic expertise in Special Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, STEM, or related fields.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and school leaders.
