Summary
Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse RN - Medical Surgical Telemetry to join their team in Chicago, IL. The role involves delivering safe patient care in the Telemetry Unit, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Telemetry department, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, guiding patient/family teaching, and overseeing the activities of other nursing personnel. You will communicate with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment responses.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Preferred:
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience.
- Ventilator Management experience.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- New Grads welcomed to apply.
