Summary
Riley Children's Health is seeking a Pediatric Outpatient GI Clinical Dietitian to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves providing optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.
About the Role
As a Pediatric Outpatient GI Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to assess nutritional needs, diagnose nutrition-related issues, implement interventions, and monitor and evaluate outcomes. You will also plan and evaluate nutrition education tailored to individual patient needs and precept dietetics and health professional students.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field, or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
- Licensure through the state of Indiana must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
- Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutritional education.
- Competency in nutrition focused physical exam and malnutrition documentation.
