About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of complex medical device systems, driving innovation, and mentoring a team of engineers. Your tasks will include architecting the core of the embedded connectivity platform, leading firmware engineers, optimizing firmware for performance, and establishing best practices for development processes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Deep expertise in Embedded Linux with experience in low-level driver development and application-level frameworks.
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Strong command of network protocols and communication buses.
Preferred:
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automation and testing.
