About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, Level 3, you will be responsible for developing modem software, verifying functionalities and performance to enhance user experience, identifying performance gaps, and debugging issues from various sources. You will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality software solutions for Snap's devices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- 0+ years of experience with software development in one or more languages, and data structures/algorithms.
- Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (C or C++), debugging and testing.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cellular SW (Radio Interface Layer) or WLAN or Bluetooth.
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP.
- Experience in SW development to support cellular carrier certification.
- Good understanding of OS concepts (heap/stack/threads/mutex/memory/scheduling).
- Understanding of Cellular, WLAN, BT protocols.
