Cindavi is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves taking full ownership of firmware development across the entire product lifecycle for high-performance lighting technologies.
About the Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will architect, code, test, and refine firmware solutions. Your responsibilities include developing embedded firmware independently, leading projects from concept to end-of-life, designing production-level software, and implementing communication protocols. You will also support production teams and drive the adoption of automated software development workflows.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- 4+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded systems.
- Experience with microcontrollers, CAN, UART, and industry communication protocols.
Preferred:
- Experience with Simulink, Model-Based Software Development (MBSD), FreeRTOS, and/or embedded cybersecurity.
