About the Role
As an Emergency Department Associate, you will observe and report patient concerns, assist with admissions and discharges, record vital signs, maintain a clean environment, and support the nursing staff with various procedures. You will also perform routine tests and assist in patient comfort measures while working in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
Preferred:
- Currently certified as a West Virginia Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic or applicable state licensure.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Two years of college in an applicable course of study or two years’ experience in an Emergency Department or pre-hospital setting.
