About the Role
As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will be responsible for delivering patient care, ensuring the medic unit is stocked and clean, examining patients, preparing medical reports, and maintaining certification through training. You will also perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, and ensure customer satisfaction during service delivery.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must maintain a valid Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess current Emergency Medical Technician license issued by the state of Michigan.
- Must possess current BLS card.
- Must demonstrate positive, respectful behavior in dealing with people at all levels.
- Exceptional knowledge of emergency care procedures and common physical illnesses.
Preferred:
- Ability to prepare detailed reports.
- Accurate typing skills and computer operation knowledge.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in stressful situations.
- COVID-19 Vaccination highly encouraged.
