About the Role
As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering patient care in a smaller volume, rural emergency department with good acuity. Your duties will include working 12-hour shifts, collaborating with a team of MDs, and managing service lines such as OB, Cardiology, General Surgery, and Orthopedics. You will also have access to ICU for patient transfers.
About You
Required:
- Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
- BLS/ALS Certified.
Preferred:
- Experience in emergency medicine.
- New graduates will be considered.
