About the Role
As an Emerging Technologies Operations Analyst, you will work with senior stakeholders across the DoD to plan for the implementation of digital modernization initiatives, including Zero Trust architecture, network modernization, and cloud adoption. You will coordinate with project managers for the adoption of emerging IT capabilities, review and analyze DoD IT strategies and policies, and develop strategies and analysis reports to assist the Chief Information Officer in planning for impacts to IT policy and governance.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience working with computers or technology in a professional environment.
- Experience developing strategies, decision briefs, and information papers and analyzing policy documents for the DoD.
- Experience working with senior U.S. military staffs and coordinating DoD strategic activities.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a Technology field.
Preferred:
- Experience with Joint Staff or a Combatant Command.
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture and other emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of federal and DoD CIO policies, strategies, and guiding documents, including the DoD Digital Modernization Strategy.
- Knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including for senior-leader communications.
