Summary

About the Role
As a Small Group Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, build personalized relationships, create proposals, analyze risk and coverage, lead open enrollment meetings, and collaborate with internal teams to manage new business and renewal processes. You will also communicate with underwriters, maintain client files, and stay current on industry trends.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Life and Health Insurance State License – required.
- Minimum 2 years insurance carrier, benefits administration, and/or insurance brokerage experience preferred.
Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HMO, PPO, HDHP for health plans.
- Knowledge of wellness programs, dental, life, short- and long-term disability.
- Understanding of the regulatory environment of employee benefit plans.
- Strong relationship management skills and excellent customer service skills.
