Veterans Inc. is seeking an Employment & Training Case Manager to join their team in East Providence, RI. The role involves reintegrating homeless and at-risk veterans into meaningful employment and addressing the complex barriers they face.
About the Role
As an Employment & Training Case Manager, you will be responsible for client assessments, career/employment training, counseling, and advocacy. Your daily tasks will include job coaching, resume building, conducting outreach to locate homeless veterans, and maintaining relationships with local employers. You will also track case management progress and assist veterans in accessing necessary services.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field required. Military experience could be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of two years experience in Employment Training, Vocational Rehabilitation, Recruitment, Counseling, Outreach, or Services to the Homeless.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with the veteran population.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
