Summary
Copa Health is seeking an Employment Community Behavioral Health Specialist to join their team in Mesa, AZ. The role involves providing Supported Employment and Housing Services for members with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
About the Role
As an Employment Community Behavioral Health Specialist, you will support members in obtaining and maintaining employment, assist in housing support and placement, conduct intakes and assessments, coordinate with clinical teams, and manage financial assistance for housing needs.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED plus four (4) years of full-time direct care experience in behavioral health.
- At least 1 year of experience working with at-risk populations and housing case management.
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid AZ Driver's License with state minimum insurance coverage.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care.
- Knowledge of community resources, workforce development, and housing resources.
