As an Employment Law Section Deputy Attorney General IV, you will independently manage all aspects of complex civil employment cases, including drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, preparing for trials, and providing legal advice to state agencies. You will also handle jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, and appellate briefs, while ensuring compliance with various employment laws.
About You
Required:
- Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
- Experience in litigation and trial procedures.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with employment laws such as the Fair Employment and Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Experience in handling administrative evidentiary hearings.
