American Medical Response is seeking an EMT Advanced to join their team in North Charleston, SC. The role involves responding to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and delivering high-quality care to patients.
About the Role
As an EMT Advanced, you will assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. You will document patient information while maintaining confidentiality, ensure a safe environment, and operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies. Collaboration with allied health and public safety personnel is essential, as well as participation in community programs to enhance the company's image.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver’s License
- BLS, NREMT certification
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
Preferred:
- Related experience in healthcare
