Summary
Conduit Health Partners is seeking an EMT Basic to join their team in Lima, OH. The role involves providing care and transportation of emergency and non-emergency patients in the pre-hospital environment.
About the Role
As an EMT Basic, you will respond to calls, perform patient assessments, provide basic airway management, administer CPR and use an AED, and ensure safe and efficient transport of patients. You will maintain proper reports and records, care for the ambulance and equipment, and uphold patient confidentiality while advocating for patients' rights. Additionally, you may serve as a proctor or educator for students and participate in mandatory training.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic EMT Certificate State of Ohio.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) within 1 year of hire.
Preferred:
- Vocational/Technical Degree.
- IS 100 and IS 700 certifications.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
