Summary
Global Medical Response is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) to join their team in Bronx, NY. The role involves responding to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and delivering high-quality care to patients.
About the Role
As an EMT-B, you will assess patients, determine necessary care, and provide emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. You will document patient information while maintaining confidentiality, ensure a safe environment, operate an ambulance according to safety policies, and collaborate with health and public safety personnel.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver’s License
- State EMT certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Preferred:
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
Benefits
- Starting pay is $20.05 /hr. and up, based on years of experience
- Referral Bonus- employees will receive $5k for referring a FT Paramedic or $2.5k for a PT Paramedic
