Summary
QuickVisit Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join their team in Washington, Iowa. The role involves providing basic clinical care to patients and performing urgent care procedures.
About the Role
As an EMT at QuickVisit Urgent Care, you will be responsible for greeting patients, performing initial clinical evaluations, taking vital signs, administering injections, drawing blood, running labs, and preparing patients for further medical evaluation. You will also maintain medical records, order supplies, and assist with patient registration and other duties as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited EMT program.
- EMT or Paramedic license in the State of Iowa.
- BLS certification required.
- Adult and Child Mandatory Reporter Training.
Preferred:
- 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Medical Assistant (MA) certificate.
