About the Role
As an Emulation Hardware Support Engineer, you will be a key member of the Technical Operations Hardware team, responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware, maintaining system reliability, and managing inventory levels of spare components. You will also perform site surveys, unbox and assemble hardware, and provide operations support in data collection for global monitoring systems.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s in electronic or software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electronics hardware.
- Experience with Linux OS and Microsoft Windows.
- Experience with high-speed serial data technology and systems.
- Ability to follow technical directions, both in writing and verbally.
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel on short notice.
- Physical strength to move 50 to 70 pounds and ability to work in a lab/datacenter environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of server and network technology.
- Skilled in technical communication and analytical problem solving.
- Experience in handling electronics parts and proper grounding procedures.
