About the Role
As an Enabling Mission Capability at Scale Intern, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on developing best-in-class tools for end-to-end software development. Your responsibilities will include finding weaknesses in source code, developing software prototypes, and creating tools and techniques to address complex software challenges faced by the government.
About You
Required:
- Current enrollment in a degree granting program such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar.
- Able to work an internship schedule during the summer 2025 semester.
- Able to come on-site to the SEI Pittsburgh office.
- Candidates will be subject to a background check.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Proficient software development skills in C++ and one or more of the following: C, Python, MATLAB, C#, or JAVA.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Able to work in an Agile based work environment collaboratively with other engineers.
- Familiarity with the various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
