Summary
AmeriCorps is seeking an EngageCorps VISTA member at Kean University to support the Office of Career Services in Montclair, NJ. The role focuses on enhancing career readiness for students, particularly first-generation and historically underserved populations.
About the Role
As an EngageCorps VISTA member, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to inform actionable recommendations, supporting outreach campaigns, and contributing to the design of new programming and partnerships. Your work will directly assist students in securing employment aligned with their degrees, thereby increasing social mobility and reducing poverty in the community. You will also conduct a detailed analysis of the First Destination Survey, lead projects to boost student engagement, and produce data dashboards.
About You
Required:
- College graduate.
- Strong skills in writing/editing, community organization, recruitment, teamwork, public speaking, and communications.
Preferred:
- Experience in data analysis and project management.
- Familiarity with career services or educational support programs.
