Summary
Amentum is seeking an Engineer 2 to join their team in Center Hill, FL. The role involves performing a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse mechanical/electromechanical equipment and systems.
About the Role
As an Engineer 2, you will be responsible for design development, analysis, and review tasks under some supervision. You will ensure safe operations and maintenance of propellant activities, provide technical direction to various personnel, prepare technical documentation, and perform technical assessments of propellant support requirements. Additionally, you will generate complete design specifications and support the development of technical proposals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college in a related scientific field.
- At least 3 years of job-related experience.
- Good communications and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
- U.S. Citizenship required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s).
Preferred:
- Experience in propellant systems and equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience with technical documentation and proposal development.
