State of Wyoming is seeking an Engineer II to join their team in Newcastle, Wyoming. The role involves performing tasks for highway projects from inception through design, construction, and contract completion under the direction of the Resident Engineer.
About the Role
As an Engineer II, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving project submittals, conducting inspections, providing technical guidance, and managing projects under construction. You will also compile engineering recommendations, conduct research on technologies, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. The position requires interaction with contractors, landowners, and government entities, as well as performing field inspections and quality control.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
0-3 years of progressive work experience in Engineering.
Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE).
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
QC/QA Certification in Soils & Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete.
Experience with Microstation and Geopak.
