About the Role
As an Engineer III, you will be responsible for comprehensive engineering plan reviews, checking contract quantities and cost estimates, drafting construction contract documents, coordinating meetings with various stakeholders, and assisting in acquiring construction permits. You will work within the Transportation Construction Section to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Three (3) years of experience in an engineering field appropriate to construction or transportation.
- Possession of a valid Class 'C' driver's license.
Preferred:
- Experience in contract development and administration.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and County procurement regulations.
- Experience in reviewing plans for construction of transportation infrastructure.
