About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer - Nuclear, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and modification of fluid flow components, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Your daily tasks will include reviewing technical specifications, preparing detailed component drawings, conducting operability calculations, and providing support during production stages. You will also liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Five years of design experience of fluid flow components, including a minimum of three years of valve design in the nuclear industry.
- General knowledge of ASME Section III Codes and ANSI valve design standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Mathcad software and PC-based CAD systems like SOLIDWORKS.
- Knowledge of CSA N285.0 Canadian standards and commercial grade dedication (CGD) processes.
