STERIS is seeking an Engineering Co-op for Fall 2026 to join their team in Mentor, OH. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and release of gastrointestinal device solutions.

About the Role

As an Engineering Co-op, you will work in various departments including Manufacturing, Sustaining, Quality, Sourcing, NPD, and R&D. Your responsibilities will include developing fixture designs, creating user-friendly databases, drafting CAD models in Solidworks, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product efficiency and support day-to-day production.

About You

Required:

Current student pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering - Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access, & Outlook).

Preferred:

Basic CAD skills are ideal - Solidworks preferred.
Sophomore year requirements completed by program start.
Preference is for candidate to return for multiple co-op rotations.
