About the Role
As an Engineering Co-op, you will work closely with the Engineering, Operations, and continuous improvement teams. Your responsibilities will include assisting with data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and project management. You will also support new product launches, collaborate on process improvements, conduct material analysis, and help maintain standard operating procedures.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Prior experience (1-2 years) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., Advanced Excel).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of process improvement concepts, including process mapping and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
