About the Role
As an Engineering Co-op, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling test units, adhering to testing protocols, measuring parts, and documenting results. You will also perform special projects related to product development, document design specifications using 3D CAD models, validate designs through laboratory testing, and analyze and present experimental results to cross-functional teams.
About You
Required:
- Currently working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and desire to collaborate with others in a cross-functional team setting.
Preferred:
- Interest in component and system design, preferably for consumer products.
- Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach.
- Experience with design processes and tools such as engineering calculations, stack-up analysis, DFMEA, DFM; CAD preferred.
