SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineering Controls Analyst to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves supporting the Engineering Department by managing non-engineering functions to enhance operational efficiency and collaboration.
About the Role
As an Engineering Controls Analyst, you will evaluate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analyze engineering and operational data, develop surveys for stakeholder feedback, assist in policy implementation, optimize workflows, and coordinate cross-departmental communication. You will also provide administrative support and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Engineering Department.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, or analyst role (preferably in an engineering or technical environment).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a plus.
