Summary
UFP Technologies is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves gaining hands-on experience across the entire product lifecycle in medical technology.
About the Role
As an Engineering Intern, you will rotate through key areas of the engineering process, including customer interaction, program management, design and fabrication, measurement and analysis, and problem solving. You will work closely with a mentor to set goals, participate in design discussions, and contribute to technical reports and process improvements.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
